Oklahoma PTA is pleased to provide our councils, units and members the opportunity to be recognized during our Annual State Convention.
Completed applications for the following awards are due in the state office by close of business on May 15th.
Outstanding Unit Application Outstanding Unit Criteria
The goal of this award is to recognize a local PTA/PTSA/SEPTA unit that demonstrates a commitment to the Oklahoma PTA and National PTA Mission and Goals.
Pat Henry Award Application Pat Henry Award Criteria
This award is named for Pat Henry, Oklahoma PTA President 1981-83, who served as National PTA President from 1991-93. The goal of this award is to recognize a school staff member, an administrator, or a school board member whose collaborative efforts with a local PTA/PTSA/SEPTA unit enhance the National PTA Standards for Parent/Family Involvement Programs.
Volunteer of Year and President’s Award Volunteer of Year and President’s Award Criteria
Oklahoma PTA’s Volunteer Award program recognizes and honors outstanding volunteers who have given selflessly to make their school community a better place for students and staff to achieve their goals.
This special person does not need to be the person who logs the most volunteer hours or is a PTA executive board member. Nominees should be someone who has made a positive impact on the school and its children.
